NHWNeighbourhood Watch

From http://doddington-nhw.blogspot.co.uk/

Last week a shed at Sunnyside was broken into and various tools were stolen. Just reinforces the advice to try and keep your outbuildings as secure as possible.

Swale NHW can supply shed alarms at a cost of £6. I haven't seen one but I guess at that price they are fairly basic. If anyone wants one, please contact me in the next few days and I will arrange to get some.

From Craig Byron, Seattle WA - "M y mother, Marjorie Doughty, and her family grew up in Yew Tree Cottage in Doddington. The Doughty family lived there throughout her childhood. My mom married my dad who was in the 8th air force there in 1943 at polebrook AB with the B17s. She left doddington in 1945 after marrying him but her mom and dad lived there until their deaths.  James Henry Doughty and Edith Emily Doughty (Mitchener) were her parents (my grandparents). "
