The newsletter is reproduced by kind permission of Joan Boucher
The newsletter has
been produced for over 30 years by Miss Joan Boucher. In all that time she has
only ever failed to print one issue of the newsletter (which was due to an
'experiment') Initially working in a garden shed with very primitive printing
equipment she now produces over 400 copies per month from her home using a
modern photocopier (see picture below)
However
the master copy is typed by hand by Joan as in the picture right. The
communities of Doddington, Newnham, and Wychling owe a debt of thanks to Joan
and her helpers who maintain the copying equipment and help distribute and
compile the newsletter.
The newsletter is reproduced for the Doddington webpage using a scanner with
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software . Unfortunately this means only
text sections of the newsletter are reproduced and not always with 100% accuracy.
My scanner is WISIWYG - what it sees (right or wrong) is what you get!
