Since
spring 2004, Doddington has had its own allotment site. We opened officially
in November, at the end of our first growing season - a season which saw several
allotment-holders picking up prizes at the local show!
The site is in an excellent, sunny position on the Old Lenham Road, with good, fertile soil. We have fifteen, full-sized plots. Water has been laid on, and the whole site is fenced against rabbits.
Doddington Allotments are managed by the Doddington Allotment Association, which is affiliated to the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners.
