Our Nature Trail The Doddington School nature trail project was created and designed to involve a partnership between pupils, staff and parents in a common project to establish and preserve an area for education, environmental studies, mediation and recreation. Pupils examine plants, insects, butterflies and the habitats of amphibians in an established labelled trail.

Our Wildlife Pond

Behind a secured fenced area lies our natural wildlife pond, where the children can examine water plants, insects and pond life. Slow worms, tadpoles, frogs, toads and newts are some of the life supported by the pond, which is surrounded by hedging and wild flowers. The pond has a patio area where pupils can safely observe under supervision.
